Notes from the dealer
We've just taken in a 2024 Chevrolet Express Cargo Van Work Van Full-size Cargo Van. It's finished in Summit White, with a Jet Black/Medium Dark Pewter interior. It has only 17,378 miles, runs a hardworking 4.3L V6 on gasoline, delivers power through an 8-speed automatic transmission, and sends it to the pavement with confidence through a rear-wheel-drive setup.
This van comes from a single previous owner, carries a Good overall condition rating, and still has remaining factory bumper to bumper warranty for added peace of mind.
If you're searching for a dependable work partner that helps your business run smoother every day, this Express Cargo Van is built exactly for that role. Small businesses, contractors, electricians, plumbers, delivery drivers, and fleet operators love these vans because they feel like stepping into a mobile workspace that is simple, tough, and ready to adapt to whatever the day demands.
When you slide into the high-back bucket driver's seat, you get a commanding, confident vantage point over the road, with clean sightlines and a no-nonsense dashboard that keeps everything easy to reach. The thick rubberized-vinyl flooring up front and wide, open cargo bay behind you make it feel like youâre in a tool you can trust, not a toy you have to worry about.
The strong 4.3L V6 delivers 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque, giving you plenty of push even with equipment in the back. The 8-speed automatic's tow/haul mode and grade braking help it stay smooth and controlled on hills or when navigating stop-and-go jobsite traffic. Every startup feels solid thanks to its full-length ladder-type frame and 8600-lb GVWR, and the rear hypoid drive axle is built to handle daily loads without complaint.
Inside, the cabin is straightforward but thoughtfully equipped for real-world work. Power windows and power locks simplify frequent stops. The 120-volt outlet on the console lets you charge tools or electronics on the go. The air conditioning keeps long days comfortable, and the Driver Information Center gives real-time updates on vehicle health, fuel range, and maintenance reminders. You also get cruise control and a tilt steering column to keep long highway stretches relaxed.
The cargo area is ready for upfitting. Six D-ring tie-downs anchor your gear securely, fixed rear and side door glass improves visibility, and rear side door security bars add peace of mind. Bright interior lighting helps you stay productive even after daylight fades. The swing-out 60/40 passenger-side door and wide-opening rear doors give you quick, easy access from every angle.
Safety is anchored by StabiliTrak, traction control, hill start assist, and a Rear Vision Camera that displays right in the rearview mirror. You also have a full set of airbags, daytime running lamps, a theft-deterrent system, and OnStar capability for extra confidence.
Chrome bumpers and a chrome grille add a polished, professional look that helps your business make a good impression when you roll up to a client site. With its steel wheels, heavy-duty tires, external engine oil cooler, and large 31-gallon fuel tank, this van is built to stay on the road and off the sideline.
If you need a strong, reliable, business-ready van that's already broken in and still carries factory warranty coverage, this 2024 Express is a rare find. I have had my express 2500 cargo van for 3 years and have had no problems whatsoever. Smooth ride! Not bad on gas 17-28 mpg - 5.0

I have a 2009. Bought it at 170000 kms. Now it has 250,000 kms. The oil cooler and transmission cooler lines rusted so I replaced those. An oxygen sensor went. I just now see the water pump is leaking and the ventilation fan has a bad connection. The right rear door has a hinge that is broken. The emergency brake cable rusted out. And the airbag light has been on for four years. But this van always starts. Never let me down. Even on the coldest Canadian morning. I have put only about $500 in repairs to drive this vehicle from 170,000 to 250,000. It needs a lot of work but it still gets me to my job and back. If you do not want to go broke fixing cargo vans, do NOT buy a euro-style van. Stick to the GM products. These things are not pretty, they are crude, but they cost nothing to keep on the road. - 5.0
