Notes from the dealer
We've just taken in a 2016 Honda CR-V LX SUV - It's finished in Black, with a black cloth interior. It currently has 192,855 miles and is powered by a dependable 2.4L i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine running on regular gasoline, paired with a smooth 1-Speed CVT with overdrive and Honda's confidence-inspiring All-Wheel Drive system. It delivers an efficient 25 MPG city and up to 31 MPG highway, making it an easy companion for both daily commutes and weekend road trips.
This CR-V comes with a 1-owner history and is in Good condition, a testament to Honda's long-standing reputation for durability. If you are searching for an affordable, practical SUV that can handle Wisconsin winters, family schedules, and everyday errands without breaking the bank, this CR-V fits the role beautifully.
Slide into the supportive cloth bucket seats and you immediately notice the elevated driving position that gives you a clear, commanding view of the road ahead. The cabin feels open and thoughtfully laid out, with everything within easy reach. The CVT transmission delivers seamless acceleration, while the AWD system automatically adjusts to changing road conditions, giving you steady traction when rain turns to snow or gravel replaces pavement.
The spacious rear bench and 60-40 split-folding seat design make it simple to adapt the interior to your life. Groceries, sports gear, strollers, or luggage for a weekend getaway - the wide rear liftgate and generous cargo area handle it all with ease. The rearview camera adds extra confidence when backing out of tight parking spots, and the large windows enhance visibility all around.
Honda built this CR-V with safety in mind. Electronic Stability Control, traction control, ABS with brake assist, multiple front and side airbags, and child safety locks all work together to help protect what matters most. Daytime running lights and automatic headlights add another layer of security and convenience.
Staying connected is easy with Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and streaming audio. Control your music and calls right from the steering wheel while enjoying the 160-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with USB and auxiliary input. Cruise control makes highway drives more relaxed, and the manual climate control keeps the cabin comfortable in every season.

Honda continues to impress with CRV
by MR Z on Tuesday, August 18, 2015
This is our second CRV, previous one was a 2013 EXL on a 3 year lease which was flawless vehicle and not one issue in 2 1/2 yrs of driving. Just traded to the 2015 EX and Honda has made a good thing even better. Superb vehicle in every way, only wish steering wheel was leather like in Accord and auto climate should be standard on EX models, but not a deal breaker. This updated model for 2015 is better, smoother and quieter in every way , Honda will be in our garage for many many years to come. - 5.0
Right on time
by SharpSenior on Friday, September 20, 2019
After 5 years with the CR-V I feel I can write a complete review. Reliability has been excellent, with only the battery and 4 tires having to be replaced. Vehicle is very comfortable to drive and with AWD is very secure in all kinds of weather. Performance is good for a 4 cylinder and gas mileage is in the mid 20's for around town driving. My biggest complaint is that the road noise is louder than I would like but that seems to be common among Honda Products. Changing the tires seems to have helped with the noise issue. All around it is a great car with plenty of room, and a nice upgrade from the 2004 Ford Escape. This is my first Honda and it has made me a believer! - 1.0
VTC Actuator Grind
by youbetcha on Tuesday, May 04, 2021
My vehicle has the VTC actuator grind noise mostly after cold start up but it has also happened in warm weather. It sounds awful for a second. Honda has had on-going issues with the actuators in other model years as well with no fix. There are Honda Technical Service Bulletins regarding the problem but Honda will not pay to repair the problem unless you can prove the noise to the dealership while under warranty. The problem with this is it is intermittent. I could probably record the noise myself with my cell phone everyday because at some point, it would happen but it has to be proven at the dealership. I have left it at the dealership for several days and they couldn't replicate the noise. Several days later at home, the grind happened. My issue began about 10,000 miles before the end of my warranty. Honda states that it doesn't hurt the engine but others disagree. Look the problem up and you will find blogs that discuss the problem and issues with this as well with Accords. I will never buy another Honda. They were dismissive when contacted.
